Étretat is a tourist and farming town in northern France. It's located 19 miles northeast of Le Havre on the coast of the Pays de Caux area. Étretat is best known for its cliffs, including a famous natural arch. The picturesque cliffs and the associated resort beach has attracted such artists as Claude Monet. Two of the three famous arches can be seen from town -- they're known as the Porte d'Aval and the Porte d'Amont. The third is called the Manneporte.
